ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Michael Arocho 

Michael Arocho is the founder and visionary behind Design Builders, Inc.  Surrounded by construction his entire life; it was in 1979 when Michael decided to take a leap of faith and relocate across the country from his hometown of Brooklyn, New York to become a carpenter. Two years later, he started what was then a small construction business out of the back of his pick-up truck, and has now become one of the most respected names in the construction industry.

Design Builders, Inc. is a reflection of Michael’s personal devotion to family and the community.  As a Father and Spouse, Michael leads Design Builders, Inc. as a family company; providing leadership, opportunity and compassion.

Michael is a dynamic individual who never forgets a name. It has often been said that his greatest strength is having the innate ability to identify talent and continually surrounding himself with good people. With decades of experience and a stellar reputation based on a profound commitment to customer service and quality, Michael has become a renowned industry veteran who is routinely sought for his expert opinion on a variety of construction matters.

PARTNER

Lilia Del Valle

As a Partner of Design Builders, Inc. and as part of the Leadership Team, Lilia Del Valle manages the company finances, information technology, human resources, philanthropic ventures, legal, property management and land acquisitions. A native Californian with a true desire to learn and grow, Lilia is an integral part of the Company’s success story; always pushing herself and working with those around her to think and plan ahead.

In 2007 Lilia joined Design Builders, Inc. as an Office Manager.  A true believer in continuous learning and education, Lilia jumped at every opportunity for personal and professional growth as an Employee/Partner, a Mother and a Spouse.

Lilia has proudly witnessed the growth of a once small company as it evolved into becoming a large commercial construction firm servicing California.  Under her direction, Design Builders, Inc.’s reporting and procedures have received high marks from insurance auditors and numerous accounting firms.

Lilia has been instrumental in mentoring, guiding and training the next generation of leaders.  She works diligently and with great enthusiasm to positively impact our customers, our employees and the company; as well as those who have influenced her career and her life. Her personal success, the Company’s success and the success of those she mentors are all a testament to her commitment and integrity.
